Prior to his appointment as a director of PGD Strategy in 1999, Michael was Finance Director of the Minet Group, now part of Aon, and led the Group’s worldwide reinsurance operation. At the time of his departure in 1996 Minet was one of the world’s five largest insurance broking and risk advisory organisations with 4,000 employees operating in 40 countries. In his capacity as Minet Group Finance Director, Michael was responsible for corporate development, international resources, compliance matters, particularly within the Lloyd’s of London insurance market, as well as audit relationships and preparation of the Group accounts. Prior to that, Michael held senior finance and accounting positions with Minet, Sedgwick, Anthony Gibbs and Glaxo Laboratories.

Michael oversees PGD Strategy’s financial, company secretarial and tax affairs and contributes to client assignments. From 1997, he has also run his own accounting practice. Michael has a Masters degree in Social Sciences from the University of Birmingham and is a Chartered Accountant.
